Sculpture - Bronze
Bronze Green Leaf Men & Women
Lady Artisan Green Leaf Men and Women sculptures are created from living models. After creating a mold of the victims face, a wax casting is created. Castings created from real oak leaves are used to complete the design. Working from life and casting in bronze gives these sculptures all of the intricate detail found in nature.

Bronze Bells
The Wolf In The Woods bronze Bell pictured to the right has an open design that allows the wolf clapper to become part of the bell's design. The sculpture pictured above is the same wolf sculpture on a base, rather than inside a bell.
The bell pictured has a three colored patina of black, brown and green. Each bell has a unique sound because no two are exactly alike. After casting a new wax bell from the wax casting mold I few days are spent refining the wax tree and woods design. The parts are very delicate when in wax and therefore time and care are required to bring the wax to a ready to cast state. |
Bronze Water Fountains
The Lady Of the Leaves bronze sculpture is a lift size replica of the model.
The original sculpture was created in wax. A mold was created of the clay sculpture to create a wax casting. Once the Lady Of the Leaves was cast into wax further castings were created for the leaves that were then incorporated into the design. The leaf castings were taken from leaves found in nature by the artist.
A final mold was created of the lady with her leaves throughout her hair. This casting mold was then used to cast the Lady Of The Leaves in the Lost Wax Method. The Lady Of The Leaves now sits in her basin or pond with water trickling through her hair into the reservoir upon which she rests.
