Lady Artisan pewter creations are both beautiful as well as functional. You will find figures and sculpture that are a delightful asset to any collection. Lady Artisan functional items are still Lady Artisan original sculptures. Lady Artisan pewter evolved naturally from Lady Artisan bronze sculpture. Pewter is not only beautiful, but it is less expensive than bronze to work with and lighter in weight. This makes Lady Artisan pewter items the metal of choice for items you would like to wear, and many decorative items for the home.

The metal, pewter, is not more expensive than the metal bronze. The process to create a pewter sculpture is what makes the final creation less expensive.

This Lady Artisan will make a mold to use for pewter casting. Pewter can be poured directly into the mold to create a pewter work of art. The same mold can be used again and again to cast a new Lady Artisan sculpture each time a patron desires.

Once a new Lady Artisan pewter is cast the new work of art is finished to created the beautiful sculpture that you will take home. There are rough places to grind or file until smooth. A finishing patina is placed on the metal to seal and protect it. The patina will bring out the details that Lady Artisan sculpture is known for. Colored patina and enamels may be applied to some pieces for color and accent. Lady Artisan pewter is known for the colors used to accent details.
